Sound Therapy & Group Sound Baths
What is Sound Healing?
Sound healing is the bridge between ancient wisdom and modern physics. Think of your body as a complex orchestra: when you are healthy, you are "in tune." When you experience anxiety, stress, or illness, you fall into a state of vibrational dissonance.
How it Works
Using the frequencies of singing bowls, gongs, and tuning forks, we gently calm your nervous system. Through a process called entrainment, a racing heart or worried mind naturally synchronise with the harmonious rhythms of the instruments, returning you to a state of peace.
The Instruments
I work with professional, therapeutic-grade Himalayan singing bowls. Hand-hammered using techniques perfected over thousands of years, these bowls are made from a sacred blend of seven metals: gold, silver, mercury, copper, iron, tin, and lead.
To complement these, I incorporate a 40cm hand-forged Nepalese Chau gong. Its deep, grounding resonance creates a moving wall of sound; by playing the gong as I move throughout the space, its powerful vibrations wash over you, clearing stagnant energy and deepening your state of relaxation.
To create a complete restorative experience, I also incorporate:
Koshi Chimes for elemental melody and lightness.
Tingsha Bells to clear energy and gently bring you back.
Precision Tuning Forks for targeted vibrational work.
Who is Sound Healing For?
My sessions are open to anyone aged 16 and over who is looking to restore balance in an increasingly noisy world. Sound healing is particularly beneficial if you are:
Navigating a Busy Professional Life: If you are feeling "burnt out" or overwhelmed by the mental load of work, sound provides a fast track to deep relaxation that traditional meditation can sometimes struggle to reach.
Supporting Physical Recovery: Sound is a powerful complementary therapy. If you are currently undergoing treatment for a physical health condition, these sessions work alongside your medical care to reduce stress and support your body’s natural healing environment.
Seeking Quiet Reflection: You don't need to be "stressed" to benefit. Many clients join me simply to enjoy a dedicated hour of meditative peace and to reconnect with their inner stillness.
Note: Sound healing is a complementary therapy and should not replace professional medical advice. If you have a pacemaker, sound-sensitive epilepsy, are in your first trimester of pregnancy, or have been diagnosed with a severe mental health issue please consult with your doctor before booking.
Sound Therapy FAQs
-
Wear something comfortable and loose fitting if possible as you will be lying down. Your body temperature may drop during the session so have some extra layers you can put on.
-
While sound healing is generally very safe, there are a few exceptions. If you have a cardiac pacemaker, sound-sensitive epilepsy, or are in the first trimester of pregnancy, please consult your GP before booking. I am happy to discuss any concerns you might have.

Absolutely. One of the best things about sound healing is that the instruments do the "work" for you. Unlike traditional meditation where you have to focus your mind, the vibrations naturally guide your brain into a meditative state.
-
Everyone’s experience is unique. Some feel a deep sense of "weightlessness," while others feel gentle tingling sensations from the vibrations. Most people leave feeling a profound sense of "mental space" and relaxation, similar to the feeling after a deep sleep or a massage.
-
Yes. Sound healing is a complementary therapy. It is designed to work in harmony with any medical treatments you are receiving by lowering stress and supporting your nervous system. It is not a replacement for professional medical care.
